This morning, enjoy a visit to Kempty Falls and Gun Hill Point.
The 40-foot Kempty Falls, is a popular and picturesque waterfall. It is the largest of the five cascades in the valley that plummets 4,500 ft. from the mountains to flow down into the plains. Owing to its panoramic surroundings, a British officer known as John Mekinan developed this spot as a tourist destination in 1835. The site offers swimming and fishing activities as well.
Later, visit the second highest peak of Mussoorie, Gun Hill which offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks of Bunder punch, Srikantha, Pithwara, Gangotri (source of the Ganges River) and a bird’s eye view of Mussoorie town and Doon Valley. Situated at an altitude of 400 ft. above the Mall, it houses the water reservoir of the hill station.
The rest of day is at leisure, one can enjoy a cable car ride from Mall road to the Gun Hill point on direct payment basis.
